Reporting to: Managing Director

The Role

New Business Development

  • Identify, target, and win new clients across sectors including commercial property, healthcare, education, leisure, industrial, and local government
  • Generate new business via outbound activity, networking, referrals, and industry events
  • Manage a robust pipeline, maintaining accurate CRM records
  • Own the full sales cycle: from initial contact and site survey through to proposal, negotiation, and contract award
  • Conduct or coordinate site surveys to scope client requirements
  • Support tenders, PQQs, and framework submissions
  • Build strong relationships within the water hygiene and wider TIC market

Commercial Performance

  • Deliver against monthly and annual revenue and margin targets
  • Price and structure proposals within agreed commercial frameworks
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities across the wider Vadella Group (e.g. fire, air, H&S)
  • Feed market insights into proposition and pricing strategy

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work closely with operations to ensure smooth contract mobilisation
  • Support early-stage onboarding to drive strong client relationships
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns, events, and lead generation activity
  • Engage with the wider Vadella commercial team on group initiatives and best practice
  • Develop knowledge of water hygiene legislation (e.g. HSG274, ACOP L8)
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting

About You

Essential

  • Proven track record in B2B new business sales
  • Experience in the TIC sector (water hygiene, legionella, environmental compliance, or similar)
  • Confident engaging senior stakeholders (FM, HSE, procurement)
  • Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and closing discipline
  • Self-motivated and comfortable in a field-based role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing

Desirable

  • Knowledge of L8, HTM 04-01, and WRAS regulations
  • Existing network across FM, property, or compliance sectors
  • Experience selling contracted/recurring services
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales methodologies
  • BOHS, WMSoc, or equivalent qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
