Job Description:

North London (Finchley) | Hybrid | £65,000 – £90,000 + Bonus

I’m working with a well-regarded London law firm that’s continuing to grow its property offering following a recent strategic expansion.

They’re now looking to hire a Commercial Property Solicitor (2–5 PQE) into a collaborative, high-performing team with strong exposure to investor and lender-led work.

The Role

This is a broad commercial property position with a strong leaning towards secured lending and investor-driven transactions.

You’ll work across:

  • Commercial acquisitions and disposals
  • Secured lending (acting for lenders and borrowers)
  • Portfolio management for property investors
  • Development and finance-linked transactions

The work is consistent, relationship-driven, and offers real client exposure early on.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • West End-level salary without City firm pressure
  • No rigid billing culture – output over timesheets
  • Strong partner visibility and hands-on development
  • Collaborative, non-hierarchical team (no silos)
  • Genuine opportunity to progress and build client relationships

What They’re Looking For

  • 2–5 PQE Commercial Property Solicitor
  • Experience in:
  • Commercial property transactions and/or
  • Secured lending / real estate finance
  • Confident handling matters with some autonomy
  • Strong client skills and a team-focused mindset

This is a culture-led hire—personality and approach matter just as much as experience.

Location

Based in Finchley (North London) with hybrid working (2 days from home).

This role suits candidates who are comfortable commuting to North London—it’s a key consideration for long-term fit.

Package

  • £65,000 – £90,000 depending on experience
  • Bonus
  • Private medical
  • Additional incentives for business development

If you’re looking for a commercial property role with strong work, real progression, and a healthier culture, this is worth exploring.
