About McGregor Group
McGregor Structures designs, manufactures, and delivers modular structures for customers across the UK and Europe. We work across sectors, including recycling, agriculture, aggregates, distribution/logistics, and military applications.
Our products are built around standardisation, speed, and reliability. We are focused on building a strong core product range rather than creating one-off bespoke solutions, with Europe playing an important role in future growth.
Role Summary
The Industrial Designer supports the development and improvement of McGregor’s products.
This role combines industrial design, product refinement, SolidWorks development, prototyping, and technical documentation. The focus is on helping create practical, well-designed products that are easy to manufacture, install, communicate, and improve over time.
A key part of the role is bridging product design and manufacturing. The Industrial Designer must be proficient in SolidWorks and work closely with manufacturing teams to develop products in a practical, production-ready manner. This reflects the need for McGregor’s manufacturing and product functions to work closely together.
