ATHEM is a scenography studio founded in Paris in 1985 by architects with a passion for urban art. Historically recognised for its monumental installations, the studio has developed a unique expertise in large-scale urban communication, at the crossroads of creativity, architecture and technical production.

Operating as a collective, ATHEM brings together a wide range of creative and technical talents, including architects, designers, graphic designers, storytellers, project managers and production directors, to enhance places, brands, events, and cultural or architectural works.

— ABOUT THE ROLE

As a true project conductor, you will oversee and coordinate projects from initial briefing through to post-production, ensuring seamless execution at every stage.

1) Upstream phase

  • Take client briefs alongside the Business Development team;
  • Contribute to the preparation of responses to tenders and consultations.

2) Project management

  • Coordinate with internal teams (development, studio, production) and external partners;
  • Manage client relationships, providing both strategic and operational support throughout the project, acting as the key interface between the client and the project team;
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables, adherence to deadlines, and compliance with budget and scheduling;
  • Oversee all project phases, from initial assessment to final delivery, including:
  • Monitoring project design in line with specifications;
  • Negotiating with suppliers and service providers;
  • Managing production schedules;
  • Organizing testing and prototyping;
  • Supervising manufacturing and production processes;
  • Travel frequently to project sites and suppliers, acting as the link between all stakeholders, both decision-makers and operational teams;
  • Review technical specifications and quotations;
  • Manage administrative and technical procedures related to project/site launch, ensuring proper coordination between all stakeholders;
  • Organize and plan installation logistics on-site with the production team.

3) Post-production

  • Conduct debrief sessions with both the project team and the client.

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management (events, construction, architecture, design, etc.);
  • Results-driven, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure;
  • Solution-oriented mindset, with creativity, agility, and the ability to take a step back and see the bigger picture;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal;
  • Strong understanding of branding;
  • Proficiency in tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Rhino is a plus;
  • Right to work in the UK;
  • Additional skill: You are fluent in French. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Permanent full-time contract;
  • Salary depending on experience;
  • Position available as soon as possible;
