We’re recruiting for an experienced property professional to manage and grow our Notting Hill Sales department, up to the value of £3m. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of success in a similar role, coupled with an expert knowledge of the market. You’ll need to lead from the front and have the hunger to drive the business forward in terms of market share and results. We’re ideally looking for someone who has lived or worked in the area, as this role not only requires someone that is extremely competent, but also knows the area in detail.
Key Responsibilities Of The Role
People Leadership
- Set clear objectives in line with company, divisional and team strategy and measure performance against them.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, hold team meetings and complete thorough probationary, interim, and annual appraisals as per company guidelines.
- Support team members in career development via training, coaching, mentoring, and promotion and succession/talent processes.
- Adhere to all company processes with regard to people management and role model professional behaviours at all times.
- Ensure recruitment is completed professionally and in line with team, divisional and company goals, and consider future needs and diversity goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Business development: work with the wider team and Hive Client Services to ensure we are servicing our database, realizing all business opportunities and driving new business, increasing market share and fees generated.
- Build a best‑in‑class sales business by developing contacts and creating new opportunities.
- Maintain an established personal network of reliable business relationships within the Notting Hill market.
- Successfully pitch for and win business.
- Personally drive the sales process from pitch to completion.
- Generate and carry out viewings with prospective purchasers.
- Liaise with the sales team to ensure the smooth sale of all properties by accurately managing the Repit and other IT systems.
- Work closely with the Head of Sales and be a strong team player.
- Understand the Battersea market and adapt to ensure success despite market challenges.
- Give best advice to clients, valuing the property where appropriate and negotiating the best possible price.
- Oversee marketing of properties including brochure production, signage and PR.
- Refer and work with other departments cross‑selling where possible.
- Provide clients with ongoing advice and produce reports where necessary.
- Adhere to the company’s ISO, Money Laundering, Health & Safety, etc.
