Responsibilities
- Maximising customer experience by ensuring high standards of service and operational excellence.
- Asset management across the region, ensuring efficient sourcing and sharing of equipment.
- Ownership of the full P&L for all depots within the region, driving cost‑effective practices while boosting revenue.
- Maintaining safety standards across depots and customer sites, fostering a safety‑first culture in all aspects of operations.
- Collaborating with area managers and the wider sales teams to drive new business opportunities, ensuring revenue targets are met and exceeded.
Qualifications
- Proven operational management experience of a large team across multiple sites
- Ability to deliver sustained growth and profitability through operational effectiveness and service excellence regionally
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in full P&L management
- Evidence of attained sales and profitability growth
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of logistics, operations and sales
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Excellent understanding and experience of managing Health and Safety practices at work
- Ability to support the business unit/team to deliver the ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
- Driving licence
