Senior / Principal / Associate Mechanical Design Engineer – Oxfordshire | Hybrid Working | 9 Day Fortnight | Up to £75k
This is an opportunity to join a growing, design-focused building services consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering across a diverse range of sectors. With ambitious plans and a close-knit team, they are looking to appoint a senior mechanical hire to play a key role in their Oxford office.
Responsibilities
- Leading mechanical design delivery from concept through to completion
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term relationships
- Taking ownership of technical quality, coordination, and project outcomes
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers
- Supporting team growth and contributing to winning new work
What They00re Looking For
- Strong experience in mechanical building services design (consultancy)
- Proven track record delivering projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, education, healthcare, or mixed-use
- Confident leading projects and engaging directly with clients
- Strong technical knowledge across HVAC systems and UK regulations
- Experience mentoring or managing engineers
- Chartered or working towards chartership (preferred)
