Job Title: Estates Officer (evenings & weekends)

Location: London

Salary: NJC Scale 5 (£30,232) – pro‑rated £16,844 for 19.5 hrs per week

Job Type: Part‑time, permanent (19.5 hrs per week)

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing lettings in the evenings and weekends, opening and closing the college in accordance with security procedures, and setting up equipment for lettings.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is friendly, organised, and takes pride in maintaining the college buildings and grounds. A "can‑do" and hands‑on attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work toward competing demands are essential. Prior experience in an educational setting is not compulsory, but advantageous.

Schedule

  • Week A (19 hrs): Monday 17:30‑22:00, Tuesday 17:30‑22:00, Saturday 08:00‑18:00.
  • Week B (20 hrs): Wednesday 17:30‑22:00, Thursday 17:30‑22:00, Friday 17:30‑22:00, Sunday 09:45‑16:15.

Core Hours

  • Monday‑Friday: 16:00‑22:30
  • Saturday: 08:00‑18:00
  • Sunday: 09:00‑17:00
