Procurement Assistant
Salary: £28,000 + CIPS training
Location: Newton Street, 35 hours per week (site-based)

Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels and work closely with stock control
- Identify slow and fast‑moving stock and act on risks
- Raise and manage purchase orders
- Track orders and provide clear updates
- Handle supplier returns, credits, and warranty issues
- Support import and export activity, including customs paperwork
- Coordinate logistics and urgent deliveries
- Maintain accurate records for goods and stock
- Support the Procurement Manager and provide cover when needed
Key Requirements
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Clear communication skills
- Confident working with numbers and data
- Good Excel skills
- Able to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Team player with a proactive approach
- ERP system knowledge is helpful but not essential
