School Business Officer

Speedwell Infant School is a small community and family-oriented school. We are looking to recruit a new School Business Officer from September 2026 who can become an integral part of the Speedwell community. The School Business Officer is a highly valued and important member of the team. We look for someone who believes in and can promote our family-friendly ethos and values, and can confidently develop this role in the future.

We are seeking someone who:

• Is friendly and approachable with a calm manner
• Has effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Is able to take responsibility, using their own professional judgement and initiative within set guidelines
• Can prioritise their own workload, working to timescales and deadlines
• Has excellent IT skills, which they can apply to different applications and systems
• Wants to be part of a team that works together in a supportive and friendly environment
• Wants to make a positive difference to the children and families in our school
