Multi Trade Operative
We're looking for a skilled Multi Trade Operative to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance across Planned Works, Voids, and Responsive Maintenance. Working in both occupied and void properties, you'll aim for first‑time fixes while providing excellent customer service and maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out multi‑trade repairs (carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting, tiling, basic brickwork)
- Support void refurbishments and planned works programmes
- Attend responsive maintenance jobs and diagnose faults efficiently
- Complete job records using PDA/mobile systems
- Communicate professionally with residents and colleagues
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and conduct risk assessments
- Work flexibly and support apprentices where required
About You
- Experience in multi‑trade repairs within social housing or maintenance
- Qualified in at least 1 core trades
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
- Able to meet security clearance requirements (SC/BPSS)
