Overview
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead critical projects within a highly regulated, operational technology (OT) environment.
This role sits within a national infrastructure programme focusing on OT projects, working in a structured, waterfall delivery environment, supporting systems such as SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and other OT platforms.
Responsibilities
- Deliver IT projects within an OT / SCADA / utilities environment using waterfall methodology
- Manage full project lifecycle: planning, execution, delivery, and reporting
- Take ownership of risk mitigation, governance, and compliance processes
- Oversee budget and financial management across projects
- Coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Navigate complex regulatory frameworks and ensure adherence to standards
Required Experience
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager
- Strong background delivering projects in Operational Technology (OT) environments
- Risk management and mitigation experience
- Budget ownership and financial tracking
- Managing diverse stakeholder groups across technical and operational teams
- Experience working in highly regulated environments with significant governance
