Applications are invited for a Consultant specialising in Emergency Medicine to join a busy, innovative, and friendly team at a Trust situated in a resort town on England’s North Sea coast.
There has been significant investment in our client’s Emergency Medicine department! This is an excellent opportunity to join a committed team dedicated to providing high-quality care.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to broaden their clinical knowledge and experience, facing exhilarating challenges, while being part of a team that will support your clinical and personal development.
The team comprises Trust grade lower-tier doctors, Deanery Rotations (FY1, FY2, ST1 – ST6, ACCS, GPsTR, and Junior Clinical Fellows), along with Specialty Doctors, Associate Specialists, and Consultants. Consultants currently provide 16.5 hours of resident shop floor cover daily and a 24-hour on-call service. They are supported by a team of excellent EMPs & ACPs.
This post is based in a location known for its beauty, recently voted as one of the best places to live in the UK. It is ideal for raising a family, with excellent schools, and has fantastic rail and road links to major cities.
The post holder must have:
- GMC license to practise
- Entry on GMC specialist register or within 6 months of CCT date, or within 12 months of expected CESR approval for Emergency Medicine
- Ideally at least 6 months UK experience
- For candidates residing abroad, completion of necessary language tests (IELTS / OET / NARIC) before applying, satisfying UKVI language requirements
