Job Title – Shift Maintenance Engineer (Multi‑Skilled Engineer – Mechanical Bias)

Location – Stratford

Salary – £47,500 – £49,000 + Unlimited Overtime

Shift – Continental Shift Pattern (Days & Nights)

Job Role

The Shift Maintenance Engineer will join a blue chip manufacturer within the FMCG industry, working on a fully automated, world-class production site in Stratford. In this role you will maintain and improve state‑of‑the‑art machinery, carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance within a high‑performing engineering team. The position offers industry‑leading OEM training, clear progression routes and long‑term job security with a market‑dominant manufacturer experiencing continued growth.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements

• Must be a Multi‑Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
• Must have experience working within an FMCG, factory, or industrial manufacturing environment
• Must hold a recognised Engineering Qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)

Essential Requirements

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills
• Experience with PLC systems and high‑speed production equipment
• Ability to work effectively within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working on fully automated production lines
• Exposure to continuous improvement or lean manufacturing principles
