Field Service Engineer – Scientific & Industrial Laboratory Instrumentation

Salary: £45,000 – £48,000 per annum + car + excellent benefits package.

Location: Worcester, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham & Gloucester.

My client is a leader in the supply of sophisticated laboratory‑based instrumentation, used in a wide range of applications, including automation and robotics, and optical visualisation systems. Their systems are trusted by scientific professionals to deliver best‑in‑class product solutions across key markets, including life science research and laboratory diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Following expansion, this market leader seeks a technically motivated and customer‑focused Field Service Engineer. Responsibilities include planned preventive maintenance, service, breakdown, and repair of a wide range of leading‑edge laboratory instrumentation at customer sites throughout the region.

Home‑based role with extensive travel across the territory, ensuring highest levels of customer service.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Electronics, Engineering or Science.
• Experience as a customer‑facing field service engineer or ex‑HM Forces Engineer (Navy, RAF or REME) looking for first move into field service.
• Experience servicing high‑value capital equipment.
• Full product training will be provided – applicants from diverse backgrounds welcome.
