A leading manufacturing business in Cornwall is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team. The Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in improving production efficiency, reliability, and overall manufacturing performance. You will be involved in process optimisation, equipment upgrades, and supporting ongoing capital investment projects across the site.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
  • Support installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new equipment and production lines
  • Analyse production data to drive performance improvements
  • Work closely with maintenance and production teams to resolve technical issues
  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, CI, Six Sigma)
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Manufacturing Engineer or similar role
  • Strong understanding of production processes and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent) preferred
