Milk Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the SE2 area to appoint a committed Geography Teacher for a temporary position running through to July in the first instance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Geography Teacher to join a supportive Humanities department focused on delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful Geography Teacher will be joining a school with a strong community ethos and a leadership team that values collaboration and professional development.

The appointed Geography Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity about the world, while supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher

  • Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Contribute positively to the Humanities department
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

We are seeking a Geography Teacher who is enthusiastic, reliable, and confident in managing a classroom environment effectively. The ideal Geography Teacher will have strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for education.

The Ideal Geography Teacher Will

  • Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have recent experience teaching Geography in a secondary setting
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
  • Be committed to raising standards and student outcomes
  • Be available for a temporary role until July
