Quality Inspector

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team on a temporary basis for 2-3 months in Hastings. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in quality inspection within a manufacturing or engineering environment who can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out visual and dimensional inspections of components and finished products
• Ensure products meet specifications, drawings, and quality standards
• Identify, record, and report non-conformances
• Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
• Support quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills, Experience, and Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience using measuring equipment (e.g. verniers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of quality standards and inspection processes
