In this role, you will lead a team and supervise superintendents and/or craft professionals on a project. You will direct craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development. Your oversight will ensure craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules and budgets.
This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for traffic planning, modelling and DCO‑compliant logistics documentation to support safe and efficient project delivery.
- Lead traffic planning and modelling activities.
- Develop Construction Traffic Management and Workforce Travel Plans.
- Lead engagement with local authorities and highways bodies.
- Support logistics governance and compliance with DCO requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors and internal teams on execution planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in traffic, transport or logistics roles.
- Experience as a senior construction traffic, transport or logistics position or in large civil infrastructure projects valued at over £50m.
- Senior level experience managing relationships with local authorities on behalf of a construction project or contractor.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer‑literate; competent using web‑based systems/Word/Excel/Outlook.
- Experience of transport planning and legislation.
- Experience of worker travel planning.
- Experience of traffic management schemes and consenting.
