Role Overview
Job Title: Project Quality Control Manager
Location: Head Office (Banbridge)
Hours: 40.5 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 7:30 am–5:00 pm; Fri 7:30 am–3:00 pm)
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Responsible to: Quality Control Manager
Responsibilities
- Lead the site’s quality function by promoting a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement, managing a team of quality engineers and inspectors.
- Plan and allocate resources to deliver project quality requirements on time, overseeing inspections and test plans, and ensuring all work, materials, and outputs meet specified standards and client expectations.
- Maintain compliance with internal systems and external regulations, handle audits, and act as the main point of contact for customer and supplier quality issues.
- Manage nonconformities through root cause analysis and corrective actions, drive process improvements through data analysis, support training and quality initiatives, and report on key quality metrics.
- Coordinate closely with stakeholders—including project teams, subcontractors, and clients—to ensure consistent quality performance across all site activities.
