With a strong, solution-led offering designed to support pharmacies in improving operational efficiency, patient services, and commercial performance, the business is now investing in a dedicated Business Development Manager to drive growth across the North or Midlands.
This is a high-impact role focused on leveraging existing relationships, understanding real pharmacy needs, and delivering tailored solutions that make a tangible difference.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting opportunities across community and independent pharmacies, as well as larger pharmacy groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth across pharmacies in the North or Midlands
- Leverage existing relationships and networks within the pharmacy sector
- Identify customer needs and position tailored, solution-led offerings
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations to pharmacy stakeholders
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Build strong relationships with pharmacy owners, managers, and decision-makers
- Maintain a deep understanding of pharmacy operations, pressures, and regulatory considerations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
About You
- Proven experience in a Business Development or Sales role within the pharmacy sector
- Established relationships across community, independent, or group pharmacies
- Strong understanding of how pharmacies operate, including commercial and clinical drivers
- Demonstrated success in solution selling—able to sell to need, not just product
- Confident delivering demos and presentations, both in-person and virtually
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
