Overview

Our client, a trusted property specialist in St Albans, seeks a Property Maintenance Manager. The role, offering a salary of £28,000‑£30,000, requires 6 months of experience and a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all landlord and tenant enquiries related to maintenance works.
• Review maintenance issues daily and prioritise tasks.
• Manage the maintenance team and independent contractors.
• Prepare, issue, and manage the tender process for contracted works.
• Record all activity and scheduled works in the in‑house system.
• Act as liaison with landlords and tenants, ensuring high levels of customer service.
• Screen and select tenants, including background and credit checks.
• Deal with tenant complaints and issues.
• Ensure the property is legally compliant.
• Conduct regular property inspections.
• Handle late payments, arrears, and evictions if needed.
• Collaborate with an enthusiastic, driven team toward common goals.
