Our client, a trusted property specialist in St Albans, seeks a Property Maintenance Manager. The role, offering a salary of £28,000‑£30,000, requires 6 months of experience and a full driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all landlord and tenant enquiries related to maintenance works.
- Review maintenance issues daily and prioritise tasks.
- Manage the maintenance team and independent contractors.
- Prepare, issue, and manage the tender process for contracted works.
- Record all activity and scheduled works in the in‑house system.
- Act as liaison with landlords and tenants, ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Screen and select tenants, including background and credit checks.
- Deal with tenant complaints and issues.
- Ensure the property is legally compliant.
- Conduct regular property inspections.
- Handle late payments, arrears, and evictions if needed.
- Collaborate with an enthusiastic, driven team toward common goals.
