Based in a convenient Normanton location, we specialise in the production of commercial furniture for clients including the Department for Education (DfE) and Ministry of Defence (MoD). With a strong pipeline of work and a progressive approach, we’re experiencing high demand and are looking for the right candidate to join our team immediately.
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Office Manager to take ownership of our day‑to‑day office operations. This is a key role supporting the directors, design team, and workshop, ensuring the studio runs smoothly and efficiently.
You’ll be the central point of coordination across administration, finance support, HR, suppliers, and general studio management—ideal for someone who enjoys variety and taking initiative in a small business setting.
Key Responsibilities
Office & Studio Management
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure smooth running of the studio
- Manage supplies, equipment, and facilities (office and workshop)
- Act as first point of contact for calls, emails, and visitors
- Maintain organised digital filing systems
Finance & Administration Support
- Raise and process purchase orders, invoices, and expenses
- Liaise with our Finance team
- Track budgets, costs, and basic cashflow reporting
- Support project administration and documentation
Suppliers & Logistics
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and couriers
- Support procurement and delivery coordination for projects
- Assist with scheduling and production admin where required
General Support
- Provide PA support to directors as needed, managing diaries and taking minutes
- Support the design and production teams with ad‑hoc admin
- Contribute to improving processes and systems as the studio grows
About You
- Proven experience in an Office Manager or Senior Administrator role
- Highly organised, reliable, and detail‑oriented
- Comfortable working in a creative studio & manufacturing environment
- Confident managing multiple tasks and priorities independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in manufacturing, design, architecture, or construction environments is a strong advantage
