Overview

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to provide immediate, short-term support for a busy lifestyle retail business. This is a hands-on role focused on managing a high-volume ER caseload, offering pragmatic advice, and ensuring best practice across a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied ER caseload including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues
  • Provide clear, commercially focused ER advice to line managers and stakeholders
  • Support investigations, hearings, and appeals end-to-end
  • Ensure all ER processes are compliant with employment law and internal policies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case tracking
  • Work collaboratively with HR and wider business teams to resolve issues efficiently

About You

  • Proven experience handling ER casework in a retail or similarly fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice
  • Confident advising managers and influencing decision-making
  • Able to manage multiple cases with urgency and attention to detail
  • Available to start immediately
