Deputy Chief Pharmacist – Mental Health Services | Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

NottsHC is seeking a Deputy Chief Pharmacist for Mental Health Services. This role focuses on medicines optimisation, leadership, and regulatory compliance within inpatient and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead medicines optimisation agenda across inpatient and community mental health services, including CAMHS and Perinatal.
• Lead dedicated teams within the care group and collaborate with senior leadership across pharmacy and the care group.
• Deputise for the Chief Pharmacist on a range of issues and lead delegated areas within the pharmacy and medicines optimisation programme.
• Participate in the Pharmacy Leadership Team and assist the Chief Pharmacist with strategic planning of pharmacy services.
• Support the Trust in meeting regulatory requirements through implementation of medicines optimisation, including leading delegated portfolio items within respective care groups.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders within the care system.

Qualifications & Experience

• Extensive clinical experience in mental health pharmacy specialisms, including CAMHS and Perinatal.
• Leadership experience within a large healthcare provider.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to use a vehicle for business purposes.
• Willingness to pay for a DBS check (standard or enhanced) with cost deducted from salary; enrolment in DBS Update Service encouraged.
