What You’ll Be Doing
- To support the homes when a Manger is absent and provide support to the Directors
- Attend local authority meetings/Regional Team Meetings/Safeguarding Meetings as required
- Provide on-call/weekend cover as required
- Any other duties that the line manager sees appropriate to ensure the smooth running of the homes.
- To audit and support all staff to deliver their duties in a timely and effective manner.
- To ensure that staffing levels are appropriate/safe to meet the needs of the residents at all times.
- To audit and implement and oversee the introduction and reception processes for all new residents.
- To audit and ensure the protection of all residents, safeguard and promote their health, welfare and quality of life.
- To assist staff in the overseeing of development of a care plan for each resident in consultation with the resident, other relevant professionals and, where appropriate, the resident’s representative or family members.
- To audit and ensure the effective implementation and review of all care plans.
- To investigate all complaints, carrying out the required action, and reporting to the Director and, where necessary, the Registration Authorities.
