Responsibilities
- Support team leads in managing project delivery, supervising tasks and reviewing deliverables.
- Develop urban drainage modelling capability, staying current and training junior members.
- Assist the team lead in managing the work of the local technical delivery team.
- Provide technical input on urban drainage projects and support the wastewater team, influencing future efficient delivery approaches.
- Exercise independent engineering judgement and provide innovative solutions to engineering problems.
- Develop and maintain excellent client relationships at all levels, coordinating project meetings internally and with clients.
- Participate in business development and proposal preparation.
- Promote the company brand through industry forums and conferences.
- Contribute to team learning through knowledge sharing exercises.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree and chartered, or significantly progressed on the journey to chartership with ICE, IEI, IoW or CIWEM.
- Demonstrated experience in wastewater hydraulic modelling (InfoWorks ICM) and ability to check technical outputs before issue.
- Good working knowledge of Water Industry Specifications, the Code of Practice for Hydraulic Modelling of Urban Drainage Systems and relevant British Standards.
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills in English.
