Repairs Planner / Scheduler – Social Housing

We’re currently recruiting for a Repairs Planner / Service Controller to join a busy social housing contractor based in Barnsley.
This is a fast-paced role where you’ll be responsible for planning and scheduling day-to-day/reactive repairs for trades across a housing portfolio.
The Role
- Scheduling and allocating work to operatives
- Managing diaries and workloads for engineers/trades
- Handling reactive and planned maintenance jobs
- Liaising with tenants and internal teams
- Updating systems and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in repairs planning / scheduling (social housing ideal)
- Strong knowledge of day-to-day/reactive repairs
- Experience using systems like MRI, Maintain, Impact Response or similar
- Good Excel and general IT skills
- Strong communication skills (customer-facing role)
