What You’ll Be Doing
This is an exciting opportunity that provides high‑level administrative support in a fast‑paced department, with a primary focus on Freedom of Information (FOI) requests and Subject Access Requests (SARs). You will log and manage complaints, councillor casework, MP enquiries and information requests using the Council’s case management system, ensuring timely, high‑quality responses that meet statutory deadlines. The role supports lawful and transparent information handling, identifies service improvements, and liaises with senior staff and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as needed, while delivering excellent customer care in line with organisational policies.

- Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1st April each year, subject to six months service in the post, until the maximum salary level has been reached. The payment of annual increments is not automatic and is subject to satisfactory performance as assessed by your director.
