Responsibilities and Physical Requirements
The role holder will work as part of a busy Distribution Centre in East Kilbride. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading an efficient distribution operation that meets the needs of our customers by providing a reliable service.
- Using all available resources to minimise cost and maximise profit within legal and regulatory guidelines.
- Type‑deputising for the Depot Manager in transport and distribution related duties when required.
- Standing, walking and lifting products up to 15 kg, bending, twisting, kneeling and crouching as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven work experience in delivery driving and team leading or supervisory experience.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
- Good organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety – an IOSH, First Aid and Fire Marshall qualification would be a bonus.
