You will be required to contribute to the continued enhancement of the courses within the Computer Science with Mathematics programmes, developing and delivering innovative and engaging curricula across undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the school, providing intellectually stimulating teaching while motivating and supporting students in their learning. You will conduct research in your area of expertise and undertake scholarly activities in computer science to ensure our curriculum is up-to-date and meets the needs of our students and employers. In addition, you may contribute to the development and delivery of outreach and engagement initiatives as well as interdisciplinary project areas.
Applicants should have a background in one of the relevant areas listed above (Ethical Hacking, System Penetration, Secure Software Development, Information Security, and Cryptography) and a PhD in a related subject and/or relevant professional experience from industry. Skilled or certified in Ethical Hacking is strongly desired.
