You’ll Work With
- A growing Data Science and Engineering function within a major public sector client
- Data Scientists, Software Engineers and Platform Engineers
- Secure, cloud‑hosted data platforms supporting advanced analytics and ML workloads
- Modern engineering practices in a collaborative, delivery‑focused environment
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, building and maintaining scalable data processing and integration services
- Developing robust software solutions to support Data Science and Machine Learning workloads
- Writing high‑quality, testable code, following modern engineering standards and TDD
- Working within secure AWS‑based environments
- Collaborating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders to deliver reliable, data‑driven solutions

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have
- Active DV Clearance (essential)
- A strong interest in Data Science and Machine Learning
- A solid software engineering background using Java, Python or TypeScript
- Experience developing software using a TDD approach (or a strong desire to work this way)
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (strong preference for AWS)
