We are recruiting for an experienced Civils Site Manager to join a solar farm project based in the NG34 area.

This role will focus on the delivery of key civil packages including site access roads and compound setup. You’ll be responsible for managing subcontractors, ensuring health & safety compliance, overseeing quality on site, and reporting progress to the Senior Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing groundworks including roads and site compounds
• Managing subcontractors and day-to-day site activities
• Ensuring works are completed to specification, including basic quality checks (e.g. correct excavation depths, levels, and materials)
• Maintaining H&S standards and site documentation
• Producing daily reports and updates

Requirements:

• Strong civils/groundworks background
• Experience with roads, compounds, and general infrastructure works
• SMSTS and First Aid certification
• Comfortable using a laptop for reporting
• Experience with concrete or reinforced concrete (desirable)
