Elite Relief Security Officer – Plymouth, Falmouth and Surrounding Area

£15.50 per hour Full time | Flexible Shifts | Must Drive and have access to own vehicle as travel between sites is essential.

The Role: Relief Security Officer – Plymouth, Falmouth and Surrounding Area

We’re looking for a professional, reliable and flexible Relief Security Officer to join our team in the Plymouth, Falmouth and nearby areas. This role requires someone who can cover a variety of shifts and locations, so access to your own vehicle and a full UK driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a visible and vigilant security presence across various client sites
  • Follow site‑specific Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and ensure full compliance
  • Maintain a high standard of personal and professional conduct
  • Ensure the safety of the public and staff by proactively monitoring for risks and hazards
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and effectively
  • Accurately document incidents and ensure all reporting procedures are followed
  • Make timely check calls and emergency contacts as required
  • Attend and complete all required training and development programmes

What You’ll Need

  • Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision)
  • Previous security experience (retail security experience is an advantage)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, confident approach under pressure
  • Flexibility to cover days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
