Credit Controller

Head Office – Leicester

Full-time, Permanent

Join our friendly and supportive finance team at Max Energy as a Credit Controller based at our Head Office in Leicester. You will play a key role in managing our customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and supporting healthy cash flow across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring payments are received on time.
  • Proactively chase overdue debt by phone and email, maintaining professional customer relationships.
  • Resolve queries and discrepancies, working closely with internal teams to prevent delays in payment.
  • Allocate and reconcile payments accurately against customer accounts.
  • Produce aged debtor reports and highlight any areas of risk to the Finance Manager.
  • Support with Sales Ledger processing

About You

  • Previous experience in a credit control or similar finance role.
  • High attention to detail and good organisational skills.
  • Positive, reliable, team-focused attitude with a willingness to get involved and support colleagues.
