Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Investment Manager to join our Living Real Estate team. The role will focus primarily on the UK market and support investments across wider European Living sectors (e.g. residential, PBSA, senior living, alternative living).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of new investment opportunities across the Living sector (Residential, PBSA and Alternative Living), primarily in the UK and selectively across Europe.
- Perform comprehensive and sophisticated financial modelling and cash‑flow analysis for core, impact and value‑add strategies.
- Conduct detailed due diligence of new opportunities, including reviewing property documentation, assessing commercial fundamentals, analysing macro and micro trends and deal characteristics, and producing a detailed report supported by market data.
- Prepare internal documentation and reports, including investment memoranda, investment committee approval papers and any other documentation necessary for transaction execution.
- Support the transaction process and assist in preparing offer letters, memorandums of understanding/heads of terms and other negotiation documents.
- Assist and manage the due diligence process, reviewing transaction documentation and liaising with key stakeholders both internal and external – commercial, legal and tax advisors.
- Contribute to the monitoring of financial, operational and strategic KPIs across the portfolio.
- Assist in executing and optimising asset‑level and portfolio‑level business plans.
- Support internal monitoring and reporting processes, including pipeline management and deal tracking.
Key Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Initial professional experience ideally within a financial institution, real estate or similar.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a clear interest in Living real estate.
- Solid financial modelling capabilities and strong Excel proficiency; familiarity with tools such as Power BI is an advantage.
- Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills (PowerPoint, etc).
- Additional European languages are a plus.
- Comfortable working in an international, fast‑paced environment.
