In this role, you will take the lead on clinical governance, guiding and supporting the Veterinary Surgeon team to deliver an efficient, compassionate, and high quality service to the local community. You’ll play a key role in shaping standards, driving performance, and ensuring a consistent, evidence‑based approach to patient care. This position is particularly well suited to a Veterinary Surgeon with a surgical bias who enjoys taking ownership of cases, making pragmatic clinical decisions, and developing their leadership within a supportive team environment.
Beyond clinical responsibilities, you will be instrumental in building and developing the team, overseeing recruitment, mentoring colleagues, and fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement. Strong communication skills will be essential, enabling you to build trust with clients and lead by example within the practice.
