An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Nurse to work in a CAMHS service based in the Waterlooville, Havant area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health care providers.
This is an exceptional, modern CAMHS service which supports young people aged 12-17 with eating disorders.
Qualification Requirement
To be considered for this role you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
Key Duties
- Providing high quality care for patients suffering from personality disorders and autistic spectrum disorder with highly complex needs and behaviours
- Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
- Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
- Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
- Mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team
- Promoting professional development within the team
Skills and Experience (Preferred)
- Strong team‑working skills
- A high level of self‑motivation and a flexible approach
- A positive attitude and natural caring and compassionate nature
- Experience within CAMHS
- Commitment to high‑quality care and to values and evidence‑based practice
- Ensure young people aged 12-17 with eating disorders receive high‑quality care, while also supporting colleagues and promoting good teamwork
- Completed Preceptorship (with evidence)
