The applicant must be a keen team player, this role will include working as part of the wider MIiU and contributing to service developments, governance, budget control and rota management.
Vale MIiU is part of the Gloucestershire MIIU service, it is open 375 days a year open 8-8. The team consists of Senior Emergency Practitioners, Emergency Practitioners, Staff nurses, paramedics and health care assistants.
The team work as autonomous practitioners in the assessment and treatment of both adults and children presenting with undifferentiated minor illness and minor injury.
Our service provides access to the local community either as walk ins or pre- booked appointments following a telephone triage service triage assessment.
The Vale MIIU team is very highly regarded amongst the local population that it serves, the successful candidate will offer clinical expertise and support, along with operational and financial management of this successful team.
