An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Mental Health Practitioner to join the Scarborough Integrated Community team. The service offers assessment and intervention within the community setting and aims to promote both recovery and living well.
Qualifications and Eligibility
- Student Nurse’s that are due to register in the next 3 months are very welcome to apply.
- Full training and preceptorship programme will be provided to help you build confidence and develop your career in this specialist area.
- Applicants must be able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.
- Adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
- Applicants from non‑UK / Republic of Ireland (RoI) backgrounds may be eligible for sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route or the Health and Care Worker visa; eligibility must be independently assessed.
Responsibilities
You will be a core member of the multidisciplinary team, responsible for your own caseload, providing care coordination and delivering intervention in the community with people who have complex needs ranging from moderate level of need to severe and enduring level of need and complexity. You will demonstrate excellent assessment skills, interpersonal and team‑working skills and work collaboratively with a range of statutory and third‑sector agencies.
