Key Responsibilities
- Carry out periodic inspection and testing and complete the necessary test certification in accordance with IEE Wiring Regulations.
- Complete other electrical certification where required.
- Develop and introduce a schedule of critical spares to ensure the timely completion of any reactive or planned tasks.
- Work closely with the team to produce and implement the delivery of a 52‑week planner necessary to complete works and ensure full statutory compliance on both contracts.
- Ensure Pinnacle's delivery of Hard FM services is delivered safely in accordance with Health and Safety best practice and compliant with all legislative requirements and relevant engineering standards.
- Obtain, where requested, customer feedback on completion of repair and new installation works.
Key Requirements
- 18th edition required.
- City & Guilds 2392 Testing and Inspection qualification required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with site staff, contractors and the wider FM team.
- Strong knowledge of H&S regulations, risk assessments and safe working practices.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within commercial or public sector buildings, ideally in a school or PFI environment.
- Understanding of PFI contract obligations, KPIs and statutory compliance requirements.
- Willingness to undergo or already possess a valid enhanced DBS clearance due to the school setting.

You will join our Total FM team based in Clacton‑on‑Sea. The Total FM team provides integrated asset management and maintenance services across the education, leisure, corporate, health and living sectors to ensure facilities operate at their best. This is a full‑time position with shift patterns of 8:00‑4:30 PM, Monday‑Friday.
