Research and Development Project Manager

BSC Filters specializes in the global design and manufacture of custom RF and Microwave Solutions, integrating core and advanced filter technologies into higher-level sub-assemblies for defence, communications, aerospace and space.

Opportunity

Join BSC Filters’ Research & Development team to lead the successful implementation of R&D technical projects on time, in full and within budget. You will coordinate cross‑site engineering teams and work closely with the MPG Chief Technical Officer, Chief Engineers and Engineering Managers to achieve end‑to‑end project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key project customer contact with internal and external customers and project participants.
• Prepare regular progress reports, documentation and communication updates.
• Organise and chair Technical Reviews, enabling full review and agreed action outcomes.
• Develop, set, maintain and communicate engineering quality standards, systems, processes and documentation to ensure consistency.

Qualifications

• Multi‑discipline experience in an engineering role.
• Implementation and management of multiple concurrent projects throughout the project lifecycle, developing and maintaining customer relationships, managing expectations and resolving issues.
• Managing assigned reports to achieve required goals.
• Working to and delivering against engineering, quality and customer standards.
• Organising and contributing to technical reviews and discussions.
• UK or NATO national with the right to work in the UK and required security clearance.
• Prepared to adjust working hours to accommodate global time‑frames for cross‑site discussions, including American east‑west coast schedules.
