Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Hull area (across 3 sites)
Hourly rate: £22.95
Shifts: Rotating 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm
Overview
- Opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a high-volume manufacturing operation
- Supporting 11 production lines, focused on plant reliability, up-time and continuous improvement
- Electrically biased role within a collaborative and forward-thinking engineering team
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive maintenance and fault finding across plant and machinery
- Diagnose electrical faults and support mechanical repairs where required
- Work from electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Carry out basic fabrication and repair work
- Collaborate with production to improve efficiency and minimise downtime
- Support spare parts control and stock management
- Share best practice with operators and wider engineering team
About You
- Time served engineer with a strong electrical bias
- Experience within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong fault-finding capability and ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems desirable
- Proactive, team-focused with strong communication skills
