Salary: £50,000 - £53,000 + overtime available

12-hour shift pattern

Are you a multi skilled engineer or maintenance engineer or shift engineer looking for your next move in manufacturing?

We are partnering with a market leading food manufacturing company, working in a highly skilled engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance and respond efficiently to breakdowns in a timely manner to maximise equipment uptime
• Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding on a variety of equipment
• Use system to record maintenance activity and planned maintenance and track KPI's
• Work effectively with external contractors and production teams to ensure smooth running of the factory
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, environmental and health and safety standards.

Key skills & experience

• Time served or relevant engineering qualifications
• Previous maintenance or engineering experience within the FMCG industry
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and health and safety standards
• PLC fault finding or diagnostics skills
