Graduate Engineer – Civils
Location: South West England – Weston Super-Mare, Mendip, Plymouth, Hereford, Bridgewater.
Octavius Regional Civil Engineering is recruiting a motivated Graduate Engineer to join our growing team across the South West of England. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate based in the South West and enthusiastic about working on varied civil engineering projects in a regional environment. Because of the remote and geographically spread nature of our sites, candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, have access to their own vehicle, and be willing to travel regularly to site locations across the region.

Role and Responsibilities
You will play a vital role in delivering safe and efficient solutions for our road and rail projects. You will gain hands‑on experience in both site and office environments, collaborating closely with project teams to ensure successful project execution. Your responsibilities include assisting with cost control, record‑keeping, method statement drafting, and project planning, and contributing fresh ideas and energy to our projects. Occasional travel or periods of working away from home may be necessary.

Qualifications and Experience
You are an adaptable, proactive individual with a relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline. Your strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively will help you thrive. You may have experience in a construction or engineering‑related setting and are eager to learn and develop your skills.
