Field Service Engineer – Scientific & Industrial Laboratory Instrumentation

Location: Leicester, Coventry, Derby and Nottingham. Salary: £45K ‑ £48K plus car, bonus and benefits.

Role Overview

Following expansion, the market leader in laboratory technology now seeks a technically motivated and customer‑focused Field Service Engineer. The role is home‑based and involves travelling to customer sites throughout the region to provide planned preventive maintenance, service, breakdown and repair of a wide range of leading‑edge laboratory instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned preventative maintenance, service, breakdown and repair of laboratory instrumentation.
• Ensure the highest levels of customer service at all customer visits.
• Travel to customer sites throughout the territory.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Electronics, Engineering or Science.
• Experience working in a customer‑facing field service role or an ex‑HM Forces Engineer seeking a first move into field service.
• Experience servicing high‑value capital equipment.
