The Role
You will be involved in the commercial and estimating aspects of roofing and cladding projects, working closely with an experienced team. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and tenders
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
- Supporting project cost control and financial reporting
- Developing a strong understanding of roofing and cladding systems
What We're Looking For
- Assistant Quantity Surveyor or someone with estimating experience in construction
- Roofing or cladding experience is preferable but not essential
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good communication and organisational abilities
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
