Field Service Engineer – Critical Power

Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing generators, UPS systems, batteries, switchgear, and control systems
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out testing and inspections
- Installing and commissioning critical power equipment
- Responding to breakdowns and delivering fast, effective solutions
- Conducting load bank testing, site surveys, and system investigations
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and apprentices
- Producing accurate service reports and documentation
- Identifying additional service or sales opportunities
Qualifications
- Strong electrical/mechanical engineering background
- Experience with generators, UPS systems, or critical power equipment (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage on‑site activities
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
- Willingness to travel, work on‑call, and occasionally stay away overnight
- Commitment to safety and high‑quality workmanship
