Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Barnsley | £45,839 per annum | Panama Shift Pattern (Days & Nights)

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a range of production machinery
- Respond quickly and effectively to reactive breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Electrical fault finding and diagnostics on manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across site maintenance and reliability
- Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure safe and efficient operations
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 (or equivalent/higher) qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Strong background in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
- Proven fault-finding experience on industrial machinery
- Experience working with PLC-controlled systems
- A proactive, hands‑on engineer with strong problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work effectively on a rotating shift pattern (days and nights)
