The Role
We are looking for a motivated Design Engineer to join a growing engineering design team. This role offers the opportunity to develop technical skills while supporting projects from early design through to fabrication and site delivery.
You will work across office‑based design tasks and occasional site visits, gaining hands‑on exposure to real‑world engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend site visits and surveys
- Assist with design briefs and technical documentation
- Produce fabrication drawings and 3D models
- Complete connection detailing
- Support calculations and technical reports
- Generate NC data for fabrication processes
About You
- Degree qualified (or studying) in Engineering
- Experience in an engineering design or detailing role
- Familiar with CAD / 3D modelling software (e.g. Tekla, AutoCAD)
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
